Hartman Shipping has about 40 crewmembers. People with whom we share the same values. Values that characterise the people from our home fishing village Urk: humble, hard-working, passionate and trustworthy.

Our employees are working mostly at sea . Especially on the cargo operations the working conditions are sometimes challenging, and various nationalities are working together.

We employ people from 5 different countries. The working schedule is up to the crew to decide, but at least 2 months at sea, and 2 months home. We, therefore, take good care of our crew.

We train them well and pay a lot of attention to good facilities and accommodation on board, state-of-the-art entertainment equipment, healthy food – 3 times a day a 5-course menu, internet access, a swimming pool for the tropical areas and fitness equipment.
